Central Arkansas quarterback Robbie Park and linebacker James Lancaster were named the Southland Conference offensive and defensive players of the week, respectively, the league office announced Monday. Stephen F. Austin true-freshman kicker Evan Egwall earned his second player of the week selection, as well.

Central Arkansas quarterback Robbie Park completed 85.7 percent of his passes (18-of-21) for 177 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the Bears’ 28-7 victory at Western Kentucky. The victory was the program’s first over an opponent from the Football Bowl Subdivision. The senior from Keller, Texas (Keller), completed 10-of-11 passes in the first half guiding Central Arkansas to held a 14-7 lead. He sealed the game with a 73-yard touchdown pass to Darrius McNeal in the final minute of the third period for a 21-7 advantage; for the season, Park has completed 73.1 percent of his passes with no interceptions.
