The Real #7 Returns to Arlington

Word on the street is Pudge is back, the Rangers giving up two mid level prospects for the 37 year old former Ranger.  The fan favorite Rodriguez is a certain Hall of Famer and will spark a little more fan interest for the ball club.  He is said to be Teagarden’s backup, but we will see.

I hope they didn’t give up too much for a guy they could have had at the beginning of the season for $1.5 million.  I love Pudge and he does bring some World Series experience to the team.

On the other hand, the story of the night last night was the MLB Debut of Kevin Richardson.  The guy is a 28 year old journeyman catcher called up to give Teagarden a day off….and ended up going 2 for 4.  It was a great story line and all the blogs were abuzz last night about how great it played out for him…..not to mention his hot wife.
